After all, Atis's mother suffered a traumatic fate. Pierce wanted to make sure that nothing happened to Atis. To protect him, Pierce enrolled Atis in a program where a small tracking chip was inserted behind Atis's ear. Pierce has continued to track Atis and has learned a lot about his stepson, including intimate details that have piqued his interest very unfatherly way.
